The Future of Suite Talk & Nodality Music

Zachary and Nick have bold ideas about expanding the impact of new music beyond the concert hall. The first step is bringing Suite Talk into the digital realm in a collaboration with Chicago’s Guarneri Hall NFP. Working with Stefan Hersh, Guarneri Hall’s artistic director, and videographer Mike Grittani, they are producing narrative-driven art videos for Nick’s Oracle and Ira’s Suite, telling meaningful stories derived from the conception of each work. These won’t be your everyday performance videos – they will take viewers on a journey traced by the music and visuals in tandem.

The finished videos will be released alongside artist interviews, video program notes, and short videos featuring related pieces of classical music, all tied together into an immersive and informative digital concert experience. Read more on Guarneri Hall’s site here.

Music & Our Environment

Zach and Nick believe that art can be a powerful tool for change, especially when it comes to environmental justice. In the upcoming months and years, Zach and Nick will commission a diverse range of composers to write pieces that help reconnect listeners to the natural world, while making them aware of the peril it is in. Their goal: to bridge the gap between the clear data around climate change – which on its own is often not persuasive enough to truly influence lives – and stories that will bring that data and its message home emotionally. These commissions will include a new piece written by Nick himself, as well as a host of composers throughout the world.

This is one of Nodality Music’s first projects as a nonprofit. If you want to be a part of this journey, join our mailing list with the form below.
